Club Afternoons

10 years and over

There is one club session a week, currently at Pirbright. These sessions are fun sessions where juniors over 10 years  can attend and have activities organized for them by tennis leaders.  These activities include playing short matches and fun tennis based games.  It provides a great opportunity for juniors to play with their friends . For details of these Club Sessions please refer to the Diary of events

4 – 9 years (Mini Red / Orange / Green Players)

These sessions are aimed at all mini tennis players.  These sessions take place every Sunday morning currently at Normandy from 10.30 to 12 noon and consist of fun games and activities organised by Tennis Leaders.  For details of these Club Sessions please refer to the Diary of events

Match Play Sessions

Match play sessions are specifically for those wishing to play matches to improve their rating.  Match Play sessions will be targeted at specific groups ie Red, Orange or Green Players or at specific rating bands eg 10.2/10.1 etc.   The format of the matches will be appropriate to each group.  In order to play in these sessions juniors must have a British Tennis Membership Number. There is a small fee to participate in Match Play sessions. For details of these Match Play Sessions please refer to the Diary of events

During the course of the year there will be a number of tournaments catering to all age groups.   Details of all events will be circulated to members in advance and dates will be posted in the Diary of Events

League Matches

We offer Juniors a number of opportunities to play in team events for the clubs, these include the Aldershot & District and Guildford Leagues for boys aged under 13 and the Surrey Mini Tennis and Little Leagues for those aged 6- 12 years.   If you are interested in playing League Tennis then please get in contact with your Junior Club Coordinator and they will pass you details on to the team organizers.

Box Leagues

Box Leagues will be run periodically.  These enable players of similar levels to play against each other in their own time.  These matches will also count towards ratings.  Boxes will consist of between 4-7 players and we are able to offer a facility to enter your results online.

Social Events

We have a number of social events over the course of the year.  These will include visits to tournament and tennis events and other social events such as tenpin bowling and Ice skating trips. We will also have ‘on-court’ socials too.  If you have any ideas for social events or would be willing to run any social events then please contact your Junior Coordinator.  All events will be displayed in the diary of events and details circulated to members in advance.
